More than 49 million Americans live at or below the poverty level.
One in five children do not know where their next meal is coming from, and may very well go to bed hungry.
The Sacred Heart Food Pantry is located in the rear of the St Isidore Parish Hall, at 53 Oak Street, Middleboro.
Volunteers are an integral part of the operation of the food pantry and crucial to helping those in need.
We welcome volunteers who can participate in restocking the pantry shelves on Tuesday and Friday mornings, distributing food on Wednesdays and Saturdays, transporting food to and from various sites, and in the many additional tasks needed to operate the pantry. Please note that all volunteers must pass a CORI screening and children under 12 are excluded from participating.
